MEPs to Touch Upon Some Sensitive Issues in EU Enlargement Discussions

Brussels, 3 November - The European Parliament's (EP) committee on foreign affairs is to discuss on Monday and Tuesday the EP enlargement report, already a second such report this year, together with assessments on the progress of the 13 EU candidate countries. A lively debated is expected as MEPs have tabled numerous amendments to the report, touching upon some of the most sensitive issues.
