Enormous Sucess as Two Wine-Growing Regions Get into B Zone, Minister But Says

Copenhagen, 5 November - Slovenian wine-growing regions in NE and SE of the country will be placed in the B wine zone according to a proposal put forward by an enlargement working group at the EU ministerial council. Agriculture Minister Franci But, who told the news to STA Tuesday during his two-day working visit to Denmark, said this was an enormous success in the accession talks, which will enable the several hundred year tradition of wine-growing and wine trade in Slovenia to continue.
