Nova Gorica Citizens Anxious About Consequences of Border Elimination

Nova Gorica, 17 February - A public debate on the future of Slovenia in the European Union took place in Nova Gorica, a city on the border with Italy, on Monday. At the debate, led by the Speaker of the Parliament Borut Pahor and EU ambassador to Slovenia Erwan Fouere, the locals were interested in the consequences of the removal of borders for the regional economy, the human and minority rights, environmental protection and small business.
