Peterle Confirms His Presidential Plans

Ljubljana, 2 November - Alojz Peterle has confirmed his intention to stand for president in the 2007 poll in what will be a nomination by a group of voters. In his statement for the STA on Thursday, Peterle declined any further comment, saying details of his nomination would be made public at a press conference on Friday.
