Survey Puts Pahor Ahead in President Race

Ljubljana, 20 November - If voters were to decide on the new Slovenian president now, Member of the European Parliament Borut Pahor (PES/SD) would come out on top with nearly 40%, with fellow MEP Alojz Peterle (EPP/NSi) second with 30.8%. Former chancellor of the University of Ljubljana Joze Mencinger trails in third with 13.3%, shows a poll carried out by the daily Dnevnik.
