Dnevnik Poll Places Peterle First, Tuerk Second, Gaspari Third

Ljubljana, 29 September - MEP Lojze Peterle is the front-runner in this year's presidential race, according to a poll published by daily Dnevnik on Saturday. Peterle would be supported in the first round by 26.7% of the respondents, while former senior UN official Danilo Tuerk would get 15.7% of the vote, just edging over ex-central bank governor Mitja Gaspari with 15%.
