Presidential Debate Shows Fiery Rhetoric

Ljubljana, 3 November - Interpretations of recent history and the period of independence were the order of the say as former prime minister Lojze Peterle and former senior UN diplomat Danilo Tuerk faced-off in a debate published by the daily Delo on Saturday. The daily says the debate showed clear differences between the two candidates and signals the end of friendly chatter.
