Presidential Hopefuls Grilled by Right-Leaning Forum
Ljubljana, 8 November - A forum of right-leaning academics grilled the contenders for the presidency of Slovenia for nearly three hours on a variety of issues as Lojze Peterle and Danilo Tuerk faced off in a debate hosted by the Assembly for the Republic last night. Its leader, Peter Jambrek, said the forum would not back any candidate because it was not a political association.
