Tuerk Officially Confirmed Winner of Presidential Election
Ljubljana, 29 November - The National Electoral Commission released the official results of the presidential election on Thursday, confirming Danilo Tuerk as the winner with 68.03% of the second-round votes against 31.97% for Lojze Peterle. Tuerk is to take oath at the National Assembly on 22 December.
