KAD Only Bidding for Mercator Stake, Finds Lasko Deal Too Risky

Ljubljana, 13 July - The PDU, a special trust company owned by the state-controlled KAD fund, filed on Friday an offer for the 10.75% stake in retailer Mercator which is being sold as part of an action by the NLB bank, KAD confirmed on Monday. KAD decided against vying for the 23.51% stake in Pivovarna Lasko which is also up for grabs.
