Committee Proposes 4 May as Date of Archives Referendum

Ljubljana, 28 March - The parliamentary Culture Committee proposed on Thursday 4 May as the date of the referendum on changes to the archives act and thus rejected the wish of the referendum proponents, the opposition Democrats (SDS), to couple it with the 25 May EU elections. The National Assembly is expected to vote on the proposal next Tuesday.
