SDS Wants to Change Commissioner Nomination Procedures
Ljubljana, 10 February - The opposition Democrats (SDS) have drafted legislative changes tweaking the nomination procedure for Slovenia's European commissioner. Under the changes, the National Assembly would be more involved in the vetting process and the government would have to provide an explanation on why a certain nominee was selected.
