Upper chamber vetoes public procurement act
Ljubljana, 2 November - The National Council, the upper chamber of parliament, voted on Monday to temporarily veto the implementation of the government-proposed public procurement act, which the lower chamber will now need to back with an absolute majority in a revote if it is to become law.
