Competition watchdog boss Krašek resigns over extortion
Ljubljana, 30 November - Andrej Krašek, the director of the Competition Protection Agency (AVK), resigned on Monday citing extortion. The move comes in the wake of allegations in a tabloid of a love affair with a lawyer who has represented some of the parties investigated by the AVK. Krašek said his personal life did not affect the AVK.
