Fiscal Council nominees fail to garner sufficient support

Ljubljana, 25 February - The parliamentary Privileges and Credentials Commission decided on Thursday to propose to the National Assembly to appoint the three nominees for the Fiscal Council. But their appointment, which requires the support of two thirds of MPs, is unlikely as they have been backed only by the coalition parties.
