Slovenia yet to appoint Fiscal Council
Ljubljana, 28 December - Almost a year and a half since the law implementing the fiscal rule was passed, Slovenia does not yet have a fiscal council which would oversee the implementation of the fiscal commitments. The government made two attempts at appointing it this year, but both failed.
