Concerns over aliens act remain despite backing in parliament
Ljubljana, 27 January - While amendments to the aliens act were confirmed in the National Assembly on Thursday, concerns over their constitutionality and Slovenia's international human rights obligations remain. The option of a constitutional review is being mentioned and so is a veto in the upper chamber of parliament.
