Controversial changes to aliens act enter into force

Ljubljana, 4 February - The controversial changes to the aliens act, which make it possible to shut the border to migrants in the event of mass migrations, entered into force today. The measure would be used only if it is confirmed by the National Assembly with an absolute majority.
