Judiciary earns praise as Istrabenz case convictions upheld

Ljubljana, 24 May - Convictions in one of the most closely watched corporate crime cases have become final shortly before turning statute barred, as the Ljubljana Higher Court upheld guilty rulings in the Istrabenz case involving Igor Bavčar, an independence-era home minister who would become one of the most powerful business executives before the recession hit.
