Jurist explains why Shamieh should be granted refugee status
Ljubljana, 15 November - After Prime Minister Miro Cerar indicated that the government might resolve the case of Syrian refugee Ahmad Shamieh by granting him a temporary residence permit, a lawyer involved in his case told the STA that Shamieh should be granted asylum, which entails a higher level of rights.
