Asylum requests down significantly this month, NGO official says

Ljubljana, 18 June - A total of 1,450 people requested asylum in Slovenia last year, including 388 unaccompanied minors. The number of requests for asylum rose significantly in the spring only to plunge in June, Katarina Bervar Sternad of the Legal Information Centre of NGOs said at a book presentation on Monday.
