Maribor sees aggressive election campaign amid continuing crisis

Ljubljana, 15 November - Maribor, the country's former industrial powerhouse which has been fighting an uphill battle ever since it lost former Yugoslav markets, has been through some tough times politically. The turbulences are also substantial during the current local election campaign, which has a toppled former mayor polling as the frontrunner.
