Former insurance exec Matjaž Rakovec projected to win Kranj mayorship
Kranj, 2 December - Matjaž Rakovec, the former chief executive of insurer Zavarovalnica Triglav, is on track to becoming the new mayor of Kranj. He was projected to win almost 70% of the of the vote in Sunday's run-off against the independent Zoran Stevanović after more than half the votes have been counted.
