Motion for referendum on migrations rejected at committee

Ljubljana, 16 January - The parliamentary Foreign Policy Committee on Wednesday formally rejected a motion for a consultative referendum on migrations, a proposal submitted by the opposition right in the midst of debates in November on whether Slovenia should join the UN Global Compact on Migrations.
