European Culture Capital 2025 head steps down due to poor fund drawing
Nova Gorica, 12 December - The head of the European Culture Capital 2025, Gorazd Božič, has resigned two months after receiving a no-confidence vote from the Nova Gorica city council due to poor drawing of EU funds. Mija Lorbek, the mayor's office manager, is set to be appointed acting director of GO! 2025, the special-purpose vehicle managing the project.
