Govt to discuss new candidate for European commissioner
Ljubljana, 9 September - The government will discuss a new Slovenian candidate for European commissioner on Monday after Tomaž Vesel withdrew his candidacy on Friday. As European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen is striving for a gender-balanced Commission, the government is expected to put forward a woman.
