SDS proposes calling off referendum on Krško 2

Ljubljana, 21 October - The opposition Democrats (SDS) has proposed that the referendum on a second unit at the Krško nuclear power station planned for 24 November be cancelled. MP Zvonko Černač has said that deciding on the project in the current situation would have long-term negative effects for the state and the people, and would cause grave damage.
