Presidential Candidates Wrap Up Election Campaign With Last TV Debate

Ljubljana, 8 November - Slovenian presidential hopefuls ended their four week election campaign on Friday with an appearance on the last televised debate before Sunday's elections. In their ultimate effort to influence voters ahead of the ballot and the election calm that will take effect at midnight on Friday, the nine candidate touched on issues of patriotism, national insignia and the presidential elections. The debate broadcast on the public TV Slovenija network also saw a number of pop-quizes aimed at checking the candidates' knowledge of presidential powers and general statistics.
