Gaining Support to Run Was My First Victory, Says Cekuta

Ljubljana, 10 November - "The very fact that I've managed to get the 5,000 votes necessary to file an official candidacy was already my first victory," said Jure Cekuta, the only truly independent candidate in this year's presidential race when commenting on the unofficial outcome of the balloting. Current unofficial results give Cekuta a mere 0.56 percent of the vote, placing him at the bottom of all candidates.
