Slovenians Abroad Strongly Back Brezigar in First Round of Elections

Ljubljana, 15 November - Barbara Brezigar received 61.01 percent of the votes cast at Slovenia's diplomatic and consular offices abroad in the first round of presidential elections, the National Election Commission (RVK) said Friday after counting 1,685 ballots that came from abroad. Janez Drnovsek, on the other hand, mustered only 26.88 percent of the vote.
