Last Head-to-Head before Election Calm: Both Presidential Hopefuls "for" NATO

Ljubljana, 29 November - Both presidential hopefuls once again spoke in favour of Slovenia's NATO membership. Appearing on TV Slovenija for the last head-to-head before election calm takes place at midnight, Janez Drnovsek and Barbara Brezigar thought NATO membership would raise the country's profile internationally. The two also shared a view that the referendum result on NATO membership should be binding for the Slovenian authorities.
