President Meets with Likely PM Designate

Ljubljana, 5 December - Slovenian President Milan Kucan on Thursday received the LDS candidate for prime minister designate, incumbent Finance Minister Anton Rop. The minister gave Kucan his written consent to the candidacy, while in the mean time, the council of the Liberal Democracy officially notified the president of its decision to propose Rop for the next prime minister, said the president's office.
