Rop Faces Strong Coalition Support and Sharp Opposition Criticism in Parliament

Ljubljana, 11 December - Coalition deputy groups of the Liberal Democrats (LDS), the People's Party (SLS), the United List (ZLSD) and the Pensioners' Party (DeSUS) have voiced support for the candidate for prime minister-designate Anton Rop in parliament on Wednesday. The coalition, however, thought that Rop had not done his work as the finance minister well and announced opposition to his bid.
