Drnovsek to Take Presidential Oaths on 22 December, Parliament Speaker Says

Ljubljana, 11 December - Expressing satisfaction that a new prime minister designate was appointed in the shortest time possible, Parliament Speaker Borut Pahor announced on Wednesday that parliamentary committees are to hold hearings of the cabinet candidates next week, after which the parliament is to vote on the new government. The outgoing Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek is meanwhile to be sworn in as the new president on 22 December, Pahor added.
