Parliamentary Committee Backs Petrin for Economics Minister

Ljubljana, 16 December - The parliamentary economics committee on Monday confirmed the candidacy of Tea Petrin for the post of Economics Minister in the new Slovenian government. Petrin, who had held that post since 2000, told the committee that the priorities of her ministry in the next two years include privatisation, increased investment into development and the drafting of legislation that will promote entrepreneurship.
