New Regions Minister Backed by Parliamentary Committee

Ljubljana, 16 December - The parliamentary economics committee backed the candidacy of Zdenka Kovac for Minister without portfolio responsible for regional development. Kovac convinced 10 members of the committee with her programme on Monday. Two votes against were cast by Jozef Jerovsek of the Social Democrats (SDS) and Andrej Bajuk of New Slovenia (NSi), both opposition parties.
