Lawmakers to Vote on New Cabinet Today

Ljubljana, 19 December - Slovenian lawmakers are to convene for the extraordinary session on Thursday morning to take a vote on the appointment of a new government cabinet, which was put forward by Prime Minister-designate Anton Rop. If confirmed, the cabinet will have 16 ministers, one more than the previous government. The new cabinet's term in office runs out no later then in 2004, when the next general elections are to take place.
