Local Elections: Major Cities Vote for Incumbents
Ljubljana, 10 October - Voters in major cities went for tried-and-tested names in Sunday's local elections, according to early unofficial results. In the most closely-watched race, independent Zoran Jankovic won the capital Ljubljana, cementing his position with a majority in the city council. Maribor incumbent Franc Kangler also secured a win the first run.
