Independents Dominate Mayoral Races, SLS Best Among Parties

Ljubljana, 11 October - Independent candidates took the most mayoral seats of those decided in the first round of local elections on Sunday. The People's Party (SLS), a small party at national level with only five seats in the National Assembly, meanwhile won the most mayoral terms among parties.
