Kordež gets seven and a half years for abuse of office
Ljubljana, 21 January - Former boss of hardware retailer Merkur, Bine Kordež, was sentenced on Thursday to seven years and six months for abuse of office in the 2010 management buyout (MBO) of Merkur. The Ljubljana District Court pronounced the sentence in the retrial after Kordež struck a plea agreement with the prosecution.
