Number of asylum applications up five-fold in 2016

Ljubljana, 29 December - After coping with a massive wave of refugees that mostly passed through the country at the end of 2015, Slovenia primarily dealt with classic illegal migration this year, but it also saw a five-fold increase in the number of applications for international protection.
