Coalition to look at "compromise" proposal for stricter asylum policy

Ljubljana, 23 January - Coalition parties are expected to meet today to hammer out the details of the controversial changes to the aliens act that tighten asylum policy. On their table ahead of a Tuesday's start of the parliamentary procedure is a slightly altered Interior Ministry-drafted version of the amendments that have been upsetting human rights groups.
