Settlement reached in Šilih hospital death case after 23 years of litigation

Maribor, 13 December - More than 20 years of litigation over a 1993 death of a boy ended on Tuesday with a settlement between the state and the boy's parents who believe Gregor Šilih died due to medical malpractice. The state pledged to put in place systemic solutions for establishing medical malpractice accountability.
